Celebrated at the Sunday 10:00am and 12:30pm Mass
Children’s Liturgy of the Word is a special celebration where our young children are invited to hear the Word of God on Sunday during Mass. Our children learn the liturgical language of the Catholic Church and we nourish and guide their spiritual growth.
Children, 3-9 years of age, come to Mass with their families and are dismissed to the parish hall to hear the Word of God proclaimed, and then explained in an age-appropriate way. After listening to the Word, hearing a short reflection, praying intercessions and singing a few songs, the children are dismissed to go back to church. They join the community in celebrating the Liturgy of the Eucharist. We also invite and encourage parents and older siblings to share in this very important ministry. Children’s Liturgy of the Word is offered year-round during both the 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM Masses. Please view calendar for scheduled dates.
